Module 2: Environmental, Social and Climate (ESC) in the IFAD project
Objective:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of IFAD’s Environmental, Social, and Climate Standards and the SECAP framework.
Strengthen the technical capacity to apply SECAP process across all stages of the project cycle—screening, assessment, implementation, and monitoring.
Enable participants to integrate gender equality, youth empowerment, and social inclusion into agricultural and rural development projects.
Adhere to a set of principles and values on which SECAP procedures and processes are based.
