On 25 and 26 July 2024, the IFAD and ITCILO met at International training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO). Representatives of IFAD, Mr. Jos Hazenbosch and Mr. Ilyasse Elbaroundi, as well as representatives from ITCILO, Mr. Joel Alcocer, Ms. Esmerina Petutschnig, Mr. Diego Alonso Portugal Del Pino and Mr. Thaer Ziyadneh attended the meeting. Representative members of IFAD, Ms. Arundhati Inamadar Willetts and Mr. Aboubacar Diaby joined the meeting online.
During the meeting, important topics such as the training needs analysis, implementation of the project, course timeline, risk management etc. were discussed.
The kick off workshop paved the way for successful implementation of SUSTAIN2. The programme will last for two years and end in July 2026.
