What if Environmental, Social, and Climate (ESC) standards weren’t just technical checklists—but living practices shaped by people, experience, and collective wisdom?

That’s the driving spirit behind SUSTAIN Connect: Community for Environmental, Social & Climate Standards—a vibrant new space that has just opened its doors to over 180 passionate practitioners across the Near East, North Africa, Europe and Central Asia (NEN) and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) regions.

In today’s world, challenges are complex—but so are our solutions when we come together. That’s why SUSTAIN Connect was created: to harness the power of community and build a stronger, more adaptive practice of ESC standards. Through this Community of Practice, PMUs, consultants, and partners from diverse countries and backgrounds come together to share their experiences and good practices in SECAP implementation, to stay updated on IFAD’s evolving tools, standards, and trainings, to connect with peers and technical advisors who understand the challenges on the ground and to engage in lively webinars, challenges, and thematic discussions.

And because inclusion begins with accessibility, the platform is fully available in four languages: English, French, Spanish, and Arabic—ensuring every voice is heard and every idea can travel across borders.

Whether new to ESC or a seasoned practitioner, SUSTAIN Connect is the space to learn, grow, and lead—together towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Interested in joining the community? Please contact us at sustain2@itcilo.org.
